Economic Development

John knows that a healthy economy is essential to the redevelopment of Springfield and the attractiveness of Ward 8. That's why John is proud to support small businesses, and equally proud to count many of those businesses among his supporters.

Councilor Lysak understands the struggles of small businesses. That is why he has advocated for lower tax rates and incentives to bring more small businesses to Springfield, such as the new Osaki Japanese Hibachi Steak House on Boston Road.

John poses with Martino, a supporter and co-owner of Sianos Italian Restaurant on Boston Road.

Councilor Lysak tours the Connecticut River Walk in Downtown Springfield with River Walk advocates to discuss possibilities for further development.

Councilor Lysak stands with supporter and owner of Main Street Auto Service in Indian Orchard.

Another small business, Molta Florist Supply on Berkshire Avenue pose with Councilor Lysak.
